poet與poetry有什么分別
poem和poetry的區(qū)別如下:
1、意思不同。poem的意思是“詩”,為可數(shù)名詞,可指具體的一首詩、兩首詩、幾首詩等;而poetry的意思也雖然是“詩”,但為詩的總稱,是不可數(shù)名詞;用作主語時(shí),謂語動(dòng)詞總是用單數(shù)。
2、用法不同。poem用作主語時(shí),謂語動(dòng)詞的數(shù)取決于poem的數(shù)(即poem為單數(shù),謂語動(dòng)詞用單數(shù);poem為復(fù)數(shù),謂語動(dòng)詞用復(fù)數(shù))。而poetry的用法多用于主語。
3、可數(shù)性不同。Poem是可數(shù)名詞,可以有復(fù)數(shù)形式,其后可以加-s。poetry是不可數(shù)名詞,詩的集合名稱,沒有復(fù)數(shù)形式,其后不可加-s。
