AKD發(fā)展歷史：
1948年，美國Herecules公司發(fā)明了一種中性施膠劑---烷基烯酮二聚體（Alkyl Ketene dimer）。但當(dāng)時由于乳液穩(wěn)定性差，陽離子淀粉和助留劑等化學(xué)品尚未發(fā)明，膠料留著率低，因而未能廣泛應(yīng)用。到1972年之后才有所改善，之后質(zhì)量不斷提高。
編輯本段AKD使用：
固體AKD的熔點約50℃，不溶于水，制膠時需加入分散劑和乳化劑（如陽離子淀粉）。 AKD適用于在pH值為8.2的條件下使用。一般在上網(wǎng)前加入。，主要用于造紙中性施膠 AKD的施膠作用在紙頁干燥以后尚未完成，卷取后存放24小時僅完成80％，若干天后施膠反應(yīng)還在繼續(xù)進(jìn)行。
AKD主要適用的紙種：
施膠要求比較高的紙種：靜電復(fù)印紙、無碳復(fù)寫紙、水松原紙、彩色噴墨紙、照相原紙、雙面膠版紙、液體食品包裝紙、水果袋紙、紙杯紙、白卡紙、防貼原紙、不干膠帶紙。
